I've been using the Blog This button on the Google toolbar to quickly post to this blog, and it seems that all is not well with it. Character substitutions are somehow made to the posts which have been rendering links unusable, and this is obviously no good at all. I had not noticed this because, obviously, I post links I myself have already explored and therefore will not visit again for a while. I've manually corrected all the errors I found, and will now have to set about working out what the problem is...
Right, the problem with corruption of links does not occur when using "Blog This" from Mzilla Firefox - only when using this facility from the Google toolbar under IE. Looking at the date when the problem started, it seems to be a result of my applying XP SP2. Chalk this up as another app SP2 breaks then...
I can't see why this happens, but I think my conclusion is a fairly certain one.
